Wilmington Police arrest three men in connection with shots fired incident:
Wilmington Police have arrested three men in connection with a shots fired incident.
On January 17, at approximately 6:02 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 1100 block of West 3rd Street, in reference to a shots fired incident with no injuries. The case was assigned to Detective Brendan Shea of the Criminal Investigations Division.
Through the course of his investigation, Detective Shea identified 19-year-old Marlen Cisney and a 15-year-old male juvenile as suspects, and obtained warrants for their arrest. On January 25, members of the Gun Intelligence Unit took Marlen Cisney into custody without incident. Subsequently, police executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of West 3rd Street, and took the 15-year-old male juvenile, and 18-year-old Marquis Johnson-Cisney into custody without incident and recovered a loaded 9mm handgun. Police executed an additional search warrant in the 700 block of West 31st Street, and recovered a loaded 9mm handgun.
Marlen Cisney has been charged with the following offenses:
- Attempted Murder (First Degree)
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Discharging a Firearm on a City Street
The 15-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Reckless Endangering (First Degree)
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
- Discharging a Firearm on a City Street
Marquis Johnson-Cisney has been charged with the following offense:
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
