INCIDENT: Commercial Burglary
LOCATION: HealthVere, 9083 Santa Anita Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga, California
SUSPECT(S): #1: Chad Carpenter, 45-year-old White Male Adult, Transient
#2: Unidentified Black Female Adult approximately 30 years old, 5'6" tall, 160 lbs
VICTIM(S): HealthVere
SUMMARY: On Saturday, January 20, at about 4:00 p.m., a commercial burglary occurred at HealthVere located at 9083 Santa Anita Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga. The suspects, Chad Carpenter and an unknown Black female adult, forced entry into the business and stole a unknown make green chop saw.
During the burglary, the audible alarm to the business activated, causing the suspects to flee. The suspects were captured on surveillance cameras driving a bright blue Toyota Tacoma with a matching blue camper shell.
Carpenter was contacted by deputies in Big Bear on January 26, 2024, and detained during a separate incident. Carpenter was subsequently placed under arrest and booked for the Rancho Cucamonga burglary. Carpenter's blue Tacoma was impounded, searched, and evidence was recovered. The Black female suspect's identity is unknown at this time and investigators are actively seeking any leads.
Carpenter frequents Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. It is believed he is involved in other incidents.
