Flood Advisory until 08:00AM

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.  

* WHEN...Until 800 AM PST. 

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 400 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rain. This is already causing urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Rainfall rates of one quarter to one half inch are likely, with locally three quarters of an inch per hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in flooding of low lying areas and intersections as well as widespread ponding of water on area roadways.  - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
 

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
