...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Michigan... Grand River near Comstock Park affecting Kent County. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Michigan... Maple River at Maple Rapids affecting Clinton County. .Rivers remain elevated due to rainfall and snowmelt over the last week. Dry weather for the next few days will allow rivers to slowly recede.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Grand River near Comstock Park.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Abrigador Trail is underwater and minor flooding of homes occurs along Abrigador Trail and Willow Drive.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:27 AM EST Thursday the stage was 12.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:27 AM EST Thursday was 12.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon and continue falling to 10.7 feet Thursday, February 08. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.7 feet on 03/10/1963. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
