* WHAT...Urban, roadway, and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHEN...Until 1000 AM PST.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of roadways, low-lying areas and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 617 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated moderate to heavy rain, with rainfall rates 0.25 to 0.5 inches per hour, with local up to 0.75 inches per hour. This is causing urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen, with local totals over 2 inches. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in flooding of roadways, intersections, and low-lying areas. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
