Update #2 (Investigation - 1100 Block of Reed Street):
Members of the WPD Criminal Investigations Division have continued their investigation into this November fatal shooting incident. Following that investigation, and in collaboration with the Delaware Department of Justice, it has been determined that this shooting was an act of self defense, and that this incident was domestic in nature.
Update #1 (November 27):
The victim in this incident has been identified as 36-year-old Samuel Teah of Philadelphia.
This incident remains under investigation, and further details will be released when possible.

Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 1:49 p.m., in the 1100 block of Reed Street.
Police located a 36-year-old male gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries.
