INCIDENT: V.C. 10851(A)- Vehicle Theft, P.C. 496D(A)- Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
LOCATION: Seventh Street and La Paz Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Gonzalo Anaya Pelayo, 28-year-old Resident of Las Vegas
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, a gray 2019 Jeep Wrangler was stolen from a car dealership in Norco, California. Dealership associates tracked the vehicle to the 14600 block of Seventh Street in the City of Victorville.
Upon deputy arrival, the vehicle was parked in a parking lot in the 14600 block of Seventh Street. Deputies observed Gonzalo Anaya Pelayo in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Pelayo was arrested without incident.
Pelayo was booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for V.C. 10851(A)- Vehicle Theft, and P.C. 496D(A)- Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
