Police Response to Disturbance on Tuttle Road
Briarcliff Manor, NY - On the evening of February 2, 2024 the Briarcliff Manor Police Department received a report of a disturbance at a residence located on Tuttle Road. The Westchester County authorities were prompt to extend their support, deploying multiple resources, including the County Helicopter, drone, K-9, the SRT Unit, and Ossining Police to assist with our local investigation. We recognize that the presence of the helicopter and additional resources may have caused concern among our residents; we assure you that ensuring the safety and security of our community is always our top priority. Based on the level of deployed assets yesterday evening and the nature of the disturbance, the Department felt confident that there was no threat to the general public. This matter is currently under investigation and, as such, we are limited in the details we can provide at this time. We wish to emphasize that, based on our preliminary assessments, we believe this incident to be isolated in nature.
