- Power has been restored to BP’s Whiting refinery following an outage that disrupted operations at the facility on the afternoon of Thursday, February 1.
- Operations have been stabilized at the refinery.
- Office buildings and nearby roads are now reopened.
- Air monitoring continues and no elevated readings have been recorded.
- All refinery personnel are accounted for and no injuries have been reported.
- The safety of the refinery staff and the community remains our highest priority.
