| Narrative: |
On 02/02/2024, deputies from the Ojai Patrol Station responded to the 300 block of Matilija Street regarding a stabbing investigation. Upon their arrival, the victim, a single male adult, told deputies that an unknown subject stabbed him. The victim provided deputies with a description of the suspect and a general direction of the suspect’s travel after the stabbing occurred.
Deputies searched the area and contacted Brian Pulley, who matched the description provided by the victim. Pully was armed with a weapon and made statements to deputies that confirmed his involvement in the incident.
Pulley was ultimately arrested for PC 245(a)(1) – Assault with a deadly weapon and transported to the Pre-Trial Detention Facility. The victim was transported to Ventura County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
