National Weather Service has issued a HIGH WIND WARNING for LANCASTER AREA until 6 AM PST MONDAY.

* WHAT...Southeast to south winds 30 to 45 mph with damaging gusts up to 80 mph expected.

* WHERE...Palmdale, Lancaster,and Lake Los Angeles

* WHEN...From 4 AM Sunday to 6 AM PST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down large objects such as trees and power lines. Power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... People should avoid being outside near large trees and powerlines.
