Flood Advisory until 09:00PM Monday

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM PST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Widespread roadway and small stream flooding will continue across much of Los Angeles county through this evening. In addition, there will be the threat of debris flows, as well as additional rock and mudslide activity, especially in the mountains and canyon roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 243 PM PST, Doppler radar continued to indicate moderate to heavy rainfall across much of Los Angeles County and extending offshore. This will add to the flooding, debris flow, and mudslide concerns across the county through this evening. Rain rates between 0.25 and 0.50 inches per hour will be likely at times, with local rates up to 0.75 inches per hour possible near heavier showers and thunderstorms. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
