The campus is Closed Due to Lack of Water
 
At approximately 9:30 am, reports of low/no water pressure across campus came in. This appears to be localized to Compton College, except for the Police Department, which has a different water source. The City of Compton Water Department has provided no timeframe for the return of water service.
 
Due to the lack of water, restrooms are unavailable. Therefore, Compton College is closing the campus effective 10:05 am for the health and safety of employees.

All employees may leave campus to work remotely for the rest of the day. Essential staff, including those in Maintenance Operations and the Police Department, will remain on campus.
