A Search Is Underway For An Escaped Inmate from Southern Regional Hospital. SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN 
Inmate Brandi Marie Cannon was being treated at the hospital after she informed officers that she swallowed drugs prior to being taken to the jail.
She was able to slip her cuffs and pull the fire alarm to escape. This is being reviewed and turned over to Internal Affairs to investigate the conduct of the Deputies and Corrections Officers.

White Female

Weight 150
Last seen wearing black tights and a camouflage t-shirt
On February 2, 2024, Inmate Cannon was charged with:
1. Theft by receiving stolen property
Burglary
2. Marijuana less than an ounce
3. Possession of tools during the commission of a crime
4. Giving a false name
5. VGCSA
