Vandalism at Christopher High School
On February 5, 2024, at approximately 11:40 p.m., a vandalism occurred at the Christopher High School campus, located at 850 Day Road in Gilroy. Three unidentified suspects entered the school and wrote hate graffiti onto the walls throughout areas of the school and ransacked several classrooms. The Gilroy Police Department’s School Resource Officer is actively investigating the incident and working closely with school staff to gather evidence.
The Gilroy Police Department takes these acts very seriously, and it is being investigated as a hate crime. We are committed to ensuring the safety of our children and schools and will continue to collaborate closely with the Gilroy Unified School District and the staff at Christopher High School.
