Update: Escaped Inmate is now In Custody SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN
Inmate Brandi Marie Cannon is now in custody. Clayton County Communications received a call in reference to a suspicious person at Old Dixie and Old Dixie Way. Chief Deputy Jonathan Green spotted Inmate Cannon at 6120 Old Dixie Way Forest Park, Georgia.
Inmate Cannon took off running and the foot chase was on. Inmate Cannon broke into a citizen's house and car before being taken into custody by Chief Green on the 400 Block of Thomas Rd. This is approximately 1.1 miles away from the hospital where she originally escaped.
Inmate Cannon will now have additional charges added to her original charges:
1. Theft by receiving stolen property
2. Marijuana less than an ounce
3. Possession of tools during the commission of a crime
4. Giving a false name
5. VGCSA
6. Burglary
7. Escape (Additional charge)
8. Burglary (Additional charge)
9. Entering Auto (Additional charge)
