Lt. Chris Taylor with the McDowell County Drug Enforcement charged 40-year-old James Lee Hinson III with felonious Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and felonious Maintaining a Dwelling for a Controlled Substance. Hinson was issued a $5,000 secured bond.
On January 24th, Lt. Taylor assisted NC Probation/Parole Officers with a search of Hinson’s residence. The search turned up methamphetamine.
