The Borough is saddened by the devastating fire that struck Jerusalem Pizza and the apartments above it very early this morning.
Thankfully, there was no loss of life and no one was hurt.
The Middlesex County Fire Marshal’s office, who is responsible for investigating the cause of the fire, stated that the investigation is not yet complete, but there does not appear to be anything suspicious about the origin of the fire.
The tenants who were affected are being assisted.
