Wilmington Police have arrested a woman on drug charges.
On January 30, at approximately 10:12 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the area of East 9th and Kirkwood Streets, when they observed a female subject engaged in drug-related activity. Officers made contact with 26-year-old Tanazia Curtis, who was taken into custody without incident and found to be in possession of 1.9 grams of crack cocaine, 1 Suboxone strip, and 1 Suboxone pill.
Curtis has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
She was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution pending further proceedings.
