Wilmington Police arrest man in connection with multiple burglary incidents following investigation:
Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection with multiple burglary incidents following an investigation.
On January 26, at approximately 5:42 a.m., police responded to the unit block of West 11th Street, in reference to a burglary incident. On January 30, at approximately 9:51 a.m., police responded to the 200 block of Girard Street, in reference to a burglary incident. On February 1, at approximately 2:15 a.m., police responded to the 600 block of North Market Street, in reference to a burglary incident. These cases were assigned to Detective Joran Merced of the Criminal Investigations Division.
Through the course of his investigation, Detective Merced obtained surveillance images of the suspect. On February 1, members of the Special Operations Division were in the unit block of South Orange Street, when they observed a subject matching the suspect description. Officers made contact with 48-year-old Kynlyn Grose and took him into custody without incident.
Grose has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (Third Degree)
- Attempted Burglary (Third Degree)
- Criminal Mischief Over $1,500
- Criminal Mischief Under $1,500 – Two Counts
- Theft Under $1,500
- Possession of Burglar Tools
