Rimforest Man Arrested for Maintaining/Operating a Drug House after Extensive Investigation

LOCATION: 26000 Block of Highway 18, Rimforest
SUSPECT(S): Dennis Freund, 60-year-old male from the Community of Rimforest
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: Investigators from the Twin Peaks Station conducted an extensive investigation regarding drug activity at a residence located on the 26000 Block of Highway 18, in Rimforest.
On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, investigators authored and served a search warrant at the residence. During the warrant service, deputies located drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, fentanyl, psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, cash in various denominations, and a firearm.
Dennis Freund was arrested for HS 11370.1 Possession of Drugs While Armed and HS 11366 Maintaining / Operation a Drug House. Freund was booked at Central Detention Center.
