Report potholes with the mySantaAna app
This week's rainstorm left more than just puddles and mud on Santa Ana streets. The downpour produced an unusually high number of potholes that our Public Works Maintenance Services staff is working overtime to repair as fast as possible!
The most common way that potholes are created is when water seeps into cracks on the surface of the road. When combined with the vibration of the tires over the cracks, the asphalt can fail and create a pothole.
If you notice a pothole on a Santa Ana street, please submit a request to Public Works and a crew will be dispatched to inspect the area and make the necessary repairs. We thank you for your patience and with your assistance in reporting service requests.
You can request pothole repairs with the mySantaAna app - download it at https://www.santa-ana.org/mysantaana-app - or by calling Public Works Dispatch at (714) 647-3380.
