Winter Weather Advisory until 12:00PM Friday

...SNOW TO IMPACT FRIDAY MORNING COMMUTE... .Quick burst of snow ahead of the Friday morning commute coincident with temperatures rapidly dropping to near or below freezing will result in challenging travel conditions. Light amounts but bigger impacts to travel.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 4 inches at elevations above 3000 feet, and up to 2 inches locations below 3000 feet.

* WHERE...Clark Fork, Pinehurst, Spokane Valley, Airway Heights, Davenport, Fourth Of July Pass, Hayden, Coeur d'Alene, Lookout Pass, Cheney, Eastport, Schweitzer Mountain Road, Post Falls, Bonners Ferry, Downtown Spokane, Rockford, Athol, Wallace, St. Maries, Fernwood, Fairfield, Dobson Pass, Sandpoint, Mullan, Worley, Kellogg, Priest River, and Osburn.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to noon PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The winter driving conditions will impact the Friday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rapidly freezing temperatures could result in slick roads and surfaces with light snow accumulations. Snow rates will be light but timing will be ahead of and during the morning commute hours.
