Activity for February 8, 2024:
- Officer Simon assisted the ATF with a transport. A 29-year-old male was lodged at JSO for parole violation.
- Officer Marcum was dispatched to the 300 block of Bates Street for a personal welfare check.
- Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
- Officer Soloman responded to the 700 block of Lansing Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 14-year-old male was lodged at JCYC on an outstanding juvenile warrant.
- Officer Tripp made contact with a subject at North Park Avenue and Burr Street. The 45-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics, smuggling contraband into the jail, and multiple outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Charges will be sought on the male for carrying a concealed weapon.
- Officer Albrecht was dispatched to West Michigan Avenue and South Jackson Street for disorderly subjects. A 43-year-old male was arrested on several outstanding felony warrants.
- Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop in the area of Whitney Street and East North Street. The 25-year-old male driver was arrested for conditional bond violation.
