Suspicious Activity | 24-1766
On Friday, February 9, 2024, at approximately 8:00 am, the Middleton Police Department received a report of a suspicious man at a bus stop near Fortune Drive at Shirley Street in the City of Middleton. At approximately 7:48 am, while seated in his own vehicle, the male asked a 12-year-old female if she was going to school and offered to take her there. The juvenile female refused and the man drove away.
Middleton Police officers, including a school resource officer, were immediately dispatched and are actively working this incident along with detectives from our Investigative Services Bureau.
The subject is described as a black male in his 30s-40s with a medium build. He was driving a small black SUV with no front license plate. The vehicle was last observed driving northbound on North Gammon Road.
The Middleton Police Department is looking to identify and speak with the involved male.
