***UPDATE***
The Amarillo Police Dept has been made aware of a community threat resulting from information out of Wyoming. The threat being that wanted subjects could possibly be traveling from Wyoming to League City, Texas. This particular threat does not mention any particular daycare in the Amarillo area, or in any other city, only citing Texas. However, we understand that this information can cause concern and we want to assure the community that we are taking all necessary precautions. We are utilizing the information from Wyoming to track the subjects and have found that currently there’s no direct threat in our city. We will continue to monitor the situation and update with new information. Subjects are identified as Otis Edlund, male age 16, and Quintin Wyrick, male 16. They are driving a 1969 white Chevrolet Chevelle with Wyoming registration. See photos of subjects and vehicle in attachments.

DETAILS: The Amarillo Police Department has been made aware of a threat to preschools that has been circulating through the community. We are currently monitoring the situation and have received information from the reporting agency. We understand that this information can cause concern and we want to assure the community that we are taking all necessary precautions. Currently, there is no threat in our city. We will continue to monitor the situation and update with new information.
