The attempted break-in occurred around 12:50 pm on Tuesday, February 6th, in the 1900 Block of Royal Oaks Drive. The suspects entered the residence through the backyard and attempted to break a window. They fled when confronted by the resident who was at home.

According to witnesses, the suspects escaped on foot through the Donald and Bernice Watson Recreation Trail, the same way they got in.
