Coastal Flood Watch until 04:00PM Tuesday

* WHAT...One to two feet of inundation above ground level possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.

* WHERE...Middlesex, Western Monmouth, Eastern Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic, Coastal Atlantic, Coastal Ocean and Southeastern Burlington.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning through Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At this level, widespread roadway flooding occurs in coastal and bayside communities and along inland tidal waterways. Many roads become impassable. Some damage to vulnerable structures may begin to occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minor coastal flooding will continue to occur around the times of the morning high tides through Monday. With a strong coastal storm passing by on Tuesday, there is a possibility of moderate coastal flooding in some areas with the Tuesday high tide.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MIDDLESEX ... WESTERN MONMOUTH ... EASTERN MONMOUTH ... OCEAN ... ATLANTIC ... COASTAL ATLANTIC ... COASTAL OCEAN ... SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON

Instructions:

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
