SVRSJT The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northeastern Tom Green County in west central Texas... Northeastern Irion County in west central Texas...

* Until 1230 AM CST.

* At 1156 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Us-67 Near The Irion-Tom Green County Line, or near Tankersley, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near... San Angelo, Tankersley, Knickerbocker, and Twin Buttes Reservoir around 1200 AM CST. Lake Nasworthy around 1205 AM CST. O.C. Fisher Reservoir and San Angelo State Park around 1210 AM CST. Goodfellow Air Force Base around 1215 AM CST. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Us- 67 Near The Irion-Tom Green County Line.

Instructions:

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay away from windows. Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in San Angelo.
