February 9, 2024:
- Officer Allison and Officer Elston were dispatched to the 200 block of West Wesley Street for a home invasion. A 28-year-old male was arrested for 1st degree home invasion.
- Officer Marcum responded to the 300 block of West Washington Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 53-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation.
- Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
- Officer Reasoner was dispatched to the 500 block of Fourth Street for a domestic assault report. Domestic assault charges will be sought on a 21-year-old female.
- Officers responded to the 500 block of South Jackson Street for a breaking and entering. A 21-year-old male was arrested for malicious destruction of property; breaking and entering; and resisting and obstructing.
- Officer Vernier was dispatched to the 600 block of Jefferson Street for a personal welfare check.
- Officer Vernier responded to East Porter Street and Cooper Street for a car vs. pedestrian accident. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
- Officer Mills investigated a domestic assault that occurred on Warwick Court. A 34-year-old male was arrested for felonious assault.
- Officers were dispatched to South Milwaukee Street and Damon Street for shots fired. Casings were located in the area.
- Officer Farnsworth responded to an overdose in the 400 block of Bates Street. A 28-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Allison and Officer Mills were dispatched to the 500 block of South Pleasant Street for a personal welfare check. A 44-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Brooker responded to the 600 block of West North Street for a malicious destruction of property report.
- Sergeant Burkart made contact with subjects in the 100 block of East Cortland Street. A 48-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
