Parking restrictions upcoming snowstorm.
With the possibility of a snowstorm tomorrow, Tuesday 02/13 residents are reminded to remove vehicles from the roadway once snow has covered the street. Vehicles should not be returned to the roadways until after the storm has ended, and roadways are plowed.
Residents are also reminded that you are not allowed to park on sidewalks, block fire hydrants, or park on another’s driveway without the permission of the homeowner. If you have a vehicle that requires maintenance and will not start, please make arrangements prior to the beginning of the storm, and remove the vehicle from the street. All vehicles left on the roadway are in violation of Borough Ordinances and are subject to being towed and/or summonsed.
In the event of a snow storm our public works and utility crews will be working hard, for as long as needed to keep roadways passable. They need your cooperation in order to do an effective job so please do not throw snow back onto roadways.
If you do not have space to park your vehicles, residents may park in any Borough owned parking lot designated by the Director of Public Works. Residents are encouraged to call the police department if you have parking questions at 732-828-1100.
