Traffic Advisory: Bridge Repair at Sample Road into Lake Placid
The Lighthouse Point Police Department would like to inform the public that starting Thursday, February 15th, 2024, repair work will commence on the bridge at Sample Road leading into Lake Placid.
Due to this necessary maintenance, traffic will be reduced to one lane. An alternative pedestrian walkway will be established for foot traffic around the work area.
To ensure the safety and smooth flow of both eastbound and westbound traffic, traffic lights will be installed to regulate lanes in an alternating pattern. We ask for your patience and attentiveness during this period as we work to improve our infrastructure.
Please be extra cautious and alert to the changing traffic patterns when traveling through this area. The project is expected to last approximately 16 weeks. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we strive to make our roads safer for everyone.
