ALERT: Significant Winter storm
ALERT: Significant Winter storm 
Fairfield Office of Emergency Management is monitoring the development of a significant winter storm to impact our area on Tuesday Feb 13. Forecasts predict 6-10" snow beginning overnight on Monday and continuing into Tuesday afternoon. Hazardous driving conditions are likely on Tuesday and we recommend that residents stay off the road to allow DPW to clear streets safely and quickly.
This storm will bring heavy wet snow which can be very taxing - shoveling creates high stress on your heart. Frequent breaks are recommended.
A Coastal flood advisory has been issued for high tide at 1:53 pm tomorrow. Accumulating snow will make moving cars difficult tomorrow so residents in low areas will be advised to move cars to higher ground tonight.
