Snow Event and Revised Sanitation Schedule for 2-13-24
Due to the incoming inclement weather, Area B Garbage and Commercial Cardboard, scheduled for Tuesday, February 13th, is postponed and will be collected on Wednesday, February 14th, with the exception that all garbage must be left curbside no later than 7:00 a.m.
As per Village Code, § 81-3 Snow and Ice Removal, residents, business owners, and property owners have twenty-four (24) hours to remove and clear snow from the sidewalk(s) abutting their property.
If the snow (or ice) on any sidewalk is so frozen that it cannot be removed, the owner/occupant shall cover the ice with sand or other material to make it safe for pedestrians. To review the entire Snow and Ice Removal code, click here: https://ecode360.com/8780937
