Significant Snow Expected Monday 2/12/2024 in to Tuesday 2/13/2024

There is a potential for significant snow fall from a winter storm starting Monday 2/12/22024 at 10:00pm into Tuesday 2/13/2024 morning ending around 12:00pm.  The snow is expected the be wet and heavy.

The essential employees within the borough will be working hard to remove and clear snow on the roadways.  If possible, please remove your vehicles from public streets.  This allows for a more efficient and effective snow removal process as well as the ability for emergency responders to access residents if the need shall arise.

Parking will be allowed Monday 2/12/24 7:00 p.m. at Washington, Roosevelt, and Lincoln Middle Schools.  If you are parking on school property, PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK SCHOOL ENTRANCES.  All vehicles parked on school property must be moved by Tuesday 2/13/2024 at 12:00 p.m. 

The Borough has a parking and emergency snow ordinance, 505-75.  Vehicles need to be removed from the roadway when snow depths reach (2) inches or more.  For the list of streets and to review the ordinance click on the link below.

Residents are responsible for removing snow and/or ice from their sidewalks within 8 hours of daylight after it has fallen, ordinance 444-14.
