The City of Santa Ana needs public input on the 2024-25 budget

Share feedback with our Community Budget Priorities Survey and community budget meetings.

The Santa Ana community has an opportunity to share their ideas about which local programs and services are most important to them and how their tax dollars should be spent.

The City of Santa Ana’s Finance and Management Services Agency is hosting a series of community budget meetings and has launched a Community Budget Priorities Survey to gather public input to aid in the preparation of the City’s Fiscal Year 2024-25 Annual Budget. The meetings and survey aim to capture the best possible picture of what residents, business owners and other stakeholders want from their City. The survey is available in English, Spanish and Vietnamese, and the community budget meetings will have Spanish and Vietnamese interpretation.

The City operates on an annual fiscal budget that begins on July 1 and ends on June 30 of the following year. The budget funds operations, such as administration and services, and capital improvements, such as fixing and upgrading streets and City-owned facilities.

The Community Budget Priorities Survey is available until midnight on May 13, 2024. Residents can also share their budget input with the Simulate and Prioritize tools, which allow users to balance the City budget and prioritize important projects.

La Ciudad de Santa Ana necesita la opinión del público sobre el presupuesto 2024-25

Comparta sus comentarios con nuestra Encuesta Comunitaria de Prioridades Presupuestarias y en las reuniones comunitarias del presupuesto.

La comunidad de Santa Ana tiene la oportunidad de compartir sus ideas sobre qué programas y servicios locales son más importantes para ellos y cómo se debe gastar el dinero de sus impuestos.

La Agencia de Servicios de Gestión y Finanzas de la Ciudad de Santa Ana está organizando una serie de reuniones sobre el presupuesto comunitario y ha lanzado una Encuesta Comunitaria de Prioridades Presupuestarias para recopilar opiniones del público para ayudar en la preparación del Presupuesto Anual del Año Fiscal 2024-25 de la Ciudad. Las reuniones y la encuesta tienen como objetivo capturar la mejor imagen posible de lo que los residentes, propietarios de negocios y otras personas interesadas quieren de su ciudad. La encuesta está disponible en inglés, español y vietnamita, y las reuniones sobre el presupuesto comunitario tendrán interpretación en español y vietnamita.

La Ciudad opera con un presupuesto fiscal anual que comienza el 1 de julio y finaliza el 30 de junio del año siguiente. El presupuesto financia operaciones, como administración y servicios, y mejoras de capital, como reparación y mejora de calles e instalaciones de propiedad de la Ciudad.

La Encuesta de prioridades presupuestarias comunitarias está disponible hasta la medianoche del 13 de mayo de 2024. Los residentes también pueden compartir sus aportaciones presupuestarias con las herramientas Simular y Priorizar, que permiten a los usuarios equilibrar el presupuesto de la Ciudad y priorizar proyectos importantes.

Thành phố Santa Ana thu nhận góp ý của công chúng về ngân sách 2024-25

Cộng đồng Santa Ana có cơ hội chia sẻ ý tưởng về những chương trình và dịch vụ địa phương nào quan trọng nhất đối với họ và cách thành phố chi tiêu tiền thuế của mình.

Cơ quan Dịch vụ Quản lý và Tài chính của Thành phố Santa Ana đang tổ chức một loạt các cuộc họp cộng đồng về ngân sách và Khảo sát về các ưu tiên của cộng đồng đối với ngân sách để thu nhận ý kiến của công chúng nhằm hỗ trợ việc chuẩn bị Ngân sách hàng năm cho Năm tài chính 2024-25 của Thành phố. Các cuộc họp và khảo sát nhằm mục đích ghi nhận những ý kiến tích cực nhất có thể về những gì mà cư dân, chủ doanh nghiệp và các bên liên quan khác mong muốn từ Thành phố. Khảo sát có sẵn trên trang mạng bằng tiếng Anh, tiếng Tây Ban Nha và tiếng Việt, và các cuộc họp ngân sách cộng đồng cũng sẽ có phiên dịch tiếng Tây Ban Nha và tiếng Việt.

Thành phố hoạt động theo ngân sách tài chính hàng năm bắt đầu từ Ngày 1 Tháng Bảy và kết thúc vào ngày 30 Tháng Sáu năm sau. Ngân sách cấp ngân quỹ cho các hoạt động như là quản lý hành chính và cung cấp dịch vụ, cải thiện chất lượng tài sản, ví dụ như sửa chữa và nâng cấp đường phố cũng như các trụ sở thuộc sở hữu của Thành phố.

Khảo sát về các Ưu tiên của Cộng đồng đối với Ngân sách sẽ có trên trang mạng cho đến nửa đêm ngày 13 Tháng Năm, 2024. Cư dân cũng có thể chia sẻ góp ý về ngân sách bằng các công cụ Mô phỏng và Ưu tiên, để người dùng thử cân bằng ngân sách Thành phố và ưu tiên cho các dự án quan trọng.
