* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Ashe County in northwestern North Carolina... Smyth County in southwestern Virginia... Tazewell County in southwestern Virginia... Western Grayson County in southwestern Virginia...

* Until 1145 PM EST.

* At 1054 PM EST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Glen Burke to Mountain City, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Marion... Richlands... Bluefield... Tazewell... Saltville... Chilhowie... and Jefferson.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ASHE, NC ... GRAYSON, VA ... SMYTH, VA ... TAZEWELL, VA
