Winter Weather Advisory until 09:00PM Thursday

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 16 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. Visibility reduced to one-mile or less at times.

* WHERE...Bristol Bay.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 9 PM AKST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on difficult travel conditions. Heavy snow and localized areas of blowing snow could cause significantly reduced visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will continue for the next few days across the Bristol Bay zone. Snow intensity will increase this evening across portions of Southern Bristol Bay, including Pilot Point and Port Heiden. The heaviest snow will fall tonight into Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile, snow intensity will increase Wednesday evening for areas west of Dillingham, including Togiak, Goodnews Bay, and Platinum. The heaviest snow there will fall from Wednesday evening through Thursday morning before becoming lighter during the afternoon hours. Precipitation intensity should keep most precipitation in the form of snow. However, rain could mix in at times for areas west of Dillingham Thursday night into Friday.
