Select Pools Closed starting Thurs., Feb. 15 for 37th Black History Swim Meet at Takoma Aquatic Center 
Select DPR Aquatic Centers will close for the 37th Annual Black History Invitational Swim Meet at Takoma: Takoma Aquatic Center (300 Van Buren St., NW) will close starting Thursday, February 15 at 1:00 p.m. Takoma Aquatic Center will serve as the host site for the Black History Invitational Swim Meet and will be closed for public swimming through Monday, February 19, 2024.
Due to staffing for this event, Turkey Thicket and Rumsey Aquatic Centers will also be closed on Saturday, February 17. Deanwood Aquatic Center remains closed for repair.
To maintain access to aquatic centers during this event, Barry Farm and Marie Reed Aquatic Centers will be open on Saturday, February 17, and Sunday, February 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
NOTE: All DPR facilities (including all aquatic centers) will be closed on Monday, February 19, 2024, in observance of Presidents’ Day.
