Activity for February 13, 2024:
- Officers responded to the 200 block of North East Avenue for an assault involving a knife. The victim was treated at the hospital. The 23-year-old male suspect was secured, and will be receiving medical treatment.
- Officer Bean made contact with a subject in the 500 block of South Jackson Street. A 53-year-old male was arrested for multiple conditional bond violations, and an outstanding felony warrant.
- JPD and WLNS 6 News held a gun lock giveaway.
- Officer Morse made contact with a subject in the 1100 block of East Morrell Street. A 41-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant. Charges will be sought on the male for possession of narcotics and narcotic paraphernalia.
- Officer Reynaga and Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop near East Michigan Avenue and North Perrine Street. The 54-year-old male driver was arrested for possession of narcotics.
