Green Bay Police Investigate Fatal Crash on Bellevue Street; One Person Deceased and One Person Injured
The Green Bay Police Department is investigating a fatal crash in the 700 block of Bellevue Street involving a single vehicle and two pedestrians.
Officers were dispatched to the scene on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, shortly after 6:00 p.m. for the incident. Witnesses reported that the pedestrians, an 82-year-old Luxemburg woman, who has died, and an 83-year-old Luxemburg man, who has been injured, were seen attempting to cross the street when they were struck by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation.
The crash has temporarily closed a portion of Bellevue Street from E. Mason Street to Louise Street for accident reconstruction.
