Winter Weather Advisory until 09:00AM Friday

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches. Northerly winds gusting 30 to 40 mph along the Kuskokwim Delta Coast. Northeasterly winds gusting up to 20 mph inland. Visibility reduced to a half-mile or less at times at the coast.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on difficult travel conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will taper off late this morning into the early afternoon hours inland while snow will linger along the coast today. Another wave of moisture arrives late this afternoon with steady snow spreading back into the area from east to west late this afternoon into the evening hours tonight. The heaviest snow will fall overnight tonight into the early morning hours Friday. Moderate snow falling in conjunction with gusty northerly winds will cause significant visibility reductions especially along the coast and Nunivak Island.
