INCIDENT: PC 368(b)(1) – Elder Abuse
LOCATION: 16000 block of Chehalis Road, Apple Valley, CA
VICTIM(S): 65-year-old Male of Apple Valley, CA
SUSPECT(S): Cameron William Crowe, 33-year-old Male of Apple Valley, CA
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, deputies were dispatched to a disturbance in the 16000 block of Chehalis Road in the town of Apple Valley.
Deputy B. Almazan responded and found a 65-year-old male outside of a residence, sitting in a motorized scooter. An investigation revealed the suspect, identified as Cameron William Crowe, insisted the victim leave the residence and locked the door, preventing him from returning. The victim was left outside for several hours in the cold and did not have access to necessary medical equipment.
Cameron William Crowe was arrested for PC 368-Elder Abuse, and transported to High Desert Detention Center for housing, where he is being held in lieu of $40,000 bail.
