INCIDENT: PC 368(b)(1) – Elder Abuse
LOCATION: 13100 block of Kiowa Road, Apple Valley, CA
VICTIM(S): 69-year-old Female of Apple Valley, CA
SUSPECT(S): Linda Ann Scott, 65-year-old Female of Apple Valley, CA
SUMMARY: Deputies were called to a report of a dispute between roommates at a residence in the 13100 block of Kiowa Road on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
Upon arrival, Deputy D. Ciani learned the suspect, identified as Linda Ann Scott, had assaulted her roommate, the 69-year-old victim. A neighbor who was working in the home separated the two until deputies arrived.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of Linda Ann Scott for PC 368-Elder Abuse. Scott was transported to High Desert Detention Center for housing, where she is being held in lieu of $40,000 bail.
