INCIDENT: PC 236 – False Imprisonment
LOCATION: 20000 block of Teton Road, Apple Valley, CA
VICTIM(S): 41-year-old Female of Apple Valley, CA
SUSPECT(S): Dustin Matthew Thomas, 30-year-old Male of Apple Valley, CA
SUMMARY: At approximately 10:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2024, a 41-year-old victim awoke to find her ex-boyfriend in her bed with her. The victim attempted to leave but the suspect prevented her from doing so. The victim’s mother entered the room a few minutes later and the suspect fled the residence.
Deputies were dispatched to the location, a residence in the 20000 block of Teton Road in the town of Apple Valley, at approximately 10:19 p.m. Deputy A. Gonzalez responded to the location and contacted the victim and her mother.
On February 14, 2024, at approximately 2:00 p.m., the suspect was contacted on Victor Street in the city of Victorville. The suspect, Dustin Matthew Thomas, was arrested for PC 236, false imprisonment. Thoams was transported to High Desert Detention Center for housing, where he is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.
