Evansville man arrested on DUI charge.
On February 14, 2024, at 9:49 p.m. Deputy Quinten Might conducted a traffic stop on US 41 near County Road 350 South on a 2011 Dodge vehicle after observing the vehicle had an expired temporary tag. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Might identified the driver as 51 year old Daniel Harms of Evansville. While speaking with Mr. Harms Deputy Might detected clues that Mr. Harms may be driving under the influence of an unknown intoxicant. At that point he contacted a Drug Recognition Expert and a roadside DUI investigation was conducted. At the conclusion of their investigation Deputy Might placed Mr. Harms into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Jail Mr. Harms was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Possession of Marijuana.
Assisting Deputy Might in his investigation was Deputies Michael Owens and U.B. Smith.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
