INCIDENT: PC 496: POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
LOCATION: Bellflower Street/ Rancho Road, Adelanto
SUSPECT: Benjamin Ruiz, 39-years-old, resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 9:46pm, Deputy N. Appello stopped a 1994 Honda Accord for California Vehicle Code violations.
During a check of the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the vehicle, the vehicle was found to be stolen out of the city of Adelanto on February 1, 2024. The plate affixed to the Honda did not belong to the vehicle, and the vehicle had been repainted.
Benjamin Ruiz was arrested for possession of stolen property and warrants. He is being held at the High Desert Detention Center in lieu of $80,000.00 bail.
