Weather Update...

Heavy Band Relaxing, Snow Continues... The 20 mile wide band of intense snow that produced incredibly heavy snowfall rates is now relaxing. At this point, totals are wide-ranging, generally between 6 and 10 inches south of I-78 with as little as 2 or 3 inches north of I-78 towards the Warren and Morris County lines. Even though the heavy band is moving out, we will still have to deal with a few more hours of light to moderate snow. This can gradually stack up another inch of two on top of what has already fallen. Snow tapers to just a flurry by 8:30 or 9:30 AM. The remainder of the day is then mostly cloudy and breezy, though a snow shower can return in the afternoon.
