* Snow Squall Warning for... North central Lehigh County in eastern Pennsylvania... Carbon County in northeastern Pennsylvania... Southwestern Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania... West central Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 245 PM EST.

* At 207 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located over Jim Thorpe, or near Lehighton, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Flash freeze on roads. Intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading to blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts up to 35 mph. SOURCE...Radar and webcams. IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes. This includes Northeast Extension between mile markers 61 and 86. Locations impacted include... Lehighton, Northampton, Palmerton, Jim Thorpe, Slatington, Nesquehoning, Weatherly, Walnutport, Brodheadsville, New Mahoning, Kunkletown, Neffs, Gilbert, Coffeetown, Rossland, Berlinsville, Emerald, Kresgeville, Danielsville, and Beltzville State Park.
