The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for... Warren County in northwestern New Jersey... Northeastern Lehigh County in eastern Pennsylvania... Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 445 PM EST.

* At 409 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located over Pen Argyl, or 9 miles north of Easton, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Flash freeze on roads. Intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading to blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts up to 35 mph. SOURCE...Radar and webcams. IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes. This includes the following highways... Northeast Extension between mile markers 65 and 70. Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 62 and 76. Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 7. Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 1 and 13. Locations impacted include... Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem, Forks, Northampton, Hackettstown, Wilson, Washington, Hellertown, Nazareth, Bangor, Slatington, Pen Argyl, Wind Gap, Bath, Belvidere, Harmony, Oxford, Alpha, and Walnutport.

Instructions:

Wet roadways will quickly freeze. Black ice will cause roads, bridges, and overpasses to become slick and dangerous. Slow down and be prepared for a sudden loss of traction. Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden whiteout conditions.
